Guestbook: Raising Wolfhounds
There are probably as many regimes for nurturing puppies as there are breeders. This forum is for information and questions relating to these young members of the tribe.Back to Forum List >> Back to Topic List
trauma recovery in a Wolfhound puppy
Posted Monday, 28 February 2011 By Joslin Stevens
I practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, usually on humans but have recently been treating an Irish Wolfhound pup (now 14-15 weeks old?) who took a tumble 5 weeks ago. The fall resulted in left sided hemiplegia. I began treating her 2 days after the incident and she's made great progress. She's walking (yeah!) but there's still work to do. I'm hoping to locate anatomical images of both skeletal and soft tissue in the thracic limb of an Irish Wolfhound -better still, a Wolfhound puppy. Any information would be helpful.
